Approved life jackets will be supplied for every passenger and must be worn at all times when instructed by the skipper or crew. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in refusal of travel.
2. Clothing & Footwear
Passengers should dress appropriately for offshore travel, including warm and weather-appropriate clothing. Flat, secure footwear must be worn. High heels, loose sandals, or unsafe footwear are not permitted on board.
3. Baggage Allowance
Each passenger may bring one small backpack (maximum 20 litres) to allow for safe and unobstructed movement on the vessel. Larger luggage items or multiple bags may not be accepted due to space and safety limitations.
4. Personal Belongings
Passengers bring personal items on board at their own risk. The operator accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings including phones, cameras, wallets, or other valuables.
5. Passenger Mobility & Physical Fitness
Passengers must be reasonably fit and able to board and disembark the vessel safely without assistance. In certain circumstances, passengers may need to climb a ladder of approximately 11 metres if harbour access steps are unavailable.
6. Identification & Travel Documents
All passengers must carry valid photo identification suitable for entry into the Isle of Man. It is the responsibility of each passenger to ensure they have the correct documentation before travelling.
7. Conduct on Board
Passengers must behave in a respectful and safe manner towards the skipper, crew, and other passengers at all times. The operator reserves the right to refuse boarding or remove any passenger displaying threatening, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour.
8. Alcohol & Intoxication
For safety reasons, passengers who appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs may be refused boarding. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
9. Damage to Vessel or Equipment
Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vessel, equipment, or safety gear due to negligence or misuse. Any associated costs will be charged to the lead passenger who made the booking. This includes the unnecessary activation of automatic or inflatable life jackets when no emergency exists.
10. Health & Medical Conditions
Travel on high-speed rigid inflatable boats (RHIBs) may involve exposure to rough sea conditions. For safety reasons, this trip is not recommended for individuals who:
- Are pregnant
- Have significant back, neck, or heart conditions
- Have limited mobility or recent joint replacement surgery
- Have undergone recent surgery or medical procedures
- Passengers with any medical concerns should consult a GP and contact the operator before booking to ensure suitability.
11. Safety Instructions
Passengers must follow all safety instructions given by the skipper or crew at all times. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in the passenger being refused travel without refund.
12. Sailing Schedule
While every effort is made to operate sailings according to the published timetable, departure times and dates may be subject to change due to weather conditions, sea state, harbour restrictions, or other operational factors outside our control.
13. Weather Conditions
Passenger safety is our highest priority. Sailings may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled if weather or sea conditions are deemed unsafe by the skipper.
14. Cancellations & Refunds
We aim to operate according to the scheduled sailing dates and times; however, these may be subject to change due to weather conditions or other circumstances outside of our control. If any adjustments are necessary, we will offer the nearest available sailing time or date to the original booking. If the alternative sailing provided is more than 48 hours from the originally scheduled departure, a full refund will be issued.
Bookings are non-refundable if the passenger cancels or fails to attend the scheduled departure.
15. Late Arrival / No-Show
Passengers must arrive at the agreed meeting point at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Failure to arrive on time may result in the vessel departing without the passenger and will be treated as a no-show.
16. Travel Insurance
Passengers are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering trip cancellation, delays, personal injury, and loss of personal belongings.
17. Photography & Media
Photos or video footage may occasionally be taken during trips for promotional purposes. By travelling with us, passengers consent to their image potentially being used in marketing materials unless they notify the crew otherwise.
18. Isle of Man TT Travel Recommendation
Due to the nature of the Isle of Man TT race schedule and the possibility of weather-related disruptions, passengers are strongly advised to book return travel on a different day from their outward journey where possible.
19. Force Majeure
The operator shall not be liable for delays or cancellations resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, harbour closures, mechanical issues, government restrictions, or emergency situations.
20. Acceptance of Risk
By booking and travelling, passengers acknowledge that travel by high-speed boat involves inherent risks due to weather and sea conditions. Passengers accept these risks and agree to follow all safety guidance provided by the crew.
