Passenger Eligibility Disclaimer – Strangford Boat Excursions
For the safety and wellbeing of all passengers, Strangford Boat Excursions reserves the right to refuse travel to any person who may be at increased risk during a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) journey. Due to the nature of high-speed, open-water travel and variable sea conditions, the following individuals are not permitted to travel on the RIB:
- Expectant mothers
- Persons with back, neck or spinal conditions, or any injury that could be aggravated by movement or impact
- Persons with heart conditions, respiratory issues, or any serious medical condition that may be worsened by physical jarring or stress
- Individuals recovering from recent surgery
- Anyone with reduced mobility that prevents secure seating or holding onto safety handholds
- Children under the minimum age/height requirement set for the specific trip
- Any passenger who cannot follow safety instructions or properly wear the required safety equipment
- Individuals who are visibly intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Suitable for ages 4+
By booking or boarding the vessel, passengers acknowledge that they meet the health and safety requirements above and understand that the operator may refuse boarding if there is any concern for personal or collective safety.
